Description
A boar tusk netsuke of an owl and a rat. The tusk is carved in relief with a hunting owl, its wings spread and its eyes inlaid. A large inlaid silver rat hiding among leaves at the side, all on a partially stippled ground.
Signed on a inlaid silver tablet JC.
