Kappa

Description

A Kappa trying to free its foot from the grip of a clam over which it is crawling. The kappa is an inhabitant of rivers. The body is a combination of turtle and frog. On top of his head is a cavity, like a monk’s tonsure, this must be filled with water, otherwise the kappa dies. The kappa is believed to be rather mischievous and very fond of young girls.
