LIU grew up in Shanghai and graduated from the Art Academy of the People’s Liberation Army in 1983. He lectured at the Academy for Chinese painting in Shanghai. – Since the TIANANMEN “incident” he lives in Toronto/Canada. His works were shown in exhibitions all over the world. He is a internationally well known artist.
